Wait, wait, wait…
November 10, 2007 No CommentsYes, I just quoted Blue’s Clues–I’m a preschool teacher, I can’t help it.
But seriously…I’m in such a funk as of late. I’ve been trying to figure it out, and at first I thought it was just all the “stuff” I’m having to do. Work, kids, moving stuff, but I finally figured it out. I just miss Trace. And it’s wierd, because I don’t usually miss him like this. It’s amazing, but we’ve come to this place in our relationship where we are both so sickeningly in love with each other, and he’s telling me the same thing. He’s honestly sad because he’s away from me.
I have another post in the works, it’s about my “relationship journey” if you will, and it’s basically just a testimony of what God has done in my life and in my marriage, but until then, all of you married men, I’m highly suggesting a book called “Every Man’s Marriage”. It has been an awesome read for Trace, and really it’s been icing on the cake as far as our relationship goes.
Anyway, back to the title of the post. I’m basically waiting on orders before I can do ANYTHING. I need to ship the car, schedule TMO, get plane tickets, la-la-la, and I can’t do any of it without orders. So….the waiting game continues. I’m staying busy, but I miss Trace. And today’s the first Marine Corps Birthday we haven’t spent together. It’s funny, because if you’ve never been a Marine, you wouldn’t understand. I’ve spent more Thanksgivings WITHOUT Trace than with him, and I’m sad about 10 November going by and we’re not together.
Anyway, Hoorah Devil Dogs. Happy Birthday.
Marines, moving
